Make button colour dependent on current URL of web browser object

jasonr Posts: 108 Rating: (2)	Hi, as can be seen in the attached screenshot, I have a screen with a single web browser object and a number of buttons that are used to select what is displayed within this object. This is done by changing the URL of the web browser when a button is pressed. To make it clear what is currently being shown in the web browser, I would like to highlight in green the button that corresponds to what is currently being displayed. What is the best way to do this? If possible, I would like to make the change the button colours by monitoring the URL of the web browser, so that whenever the URL changes, the appropriate button is automatically highlighted. This is preferable to usinga separate tag that is written to whenever a button is pressed, because this does not allow for other events that might change the URL of the browser, such as WinCC being restarted. You can see more information the following link. internet explorer object Then you can compare the current URL with another. If the URLs are equal, then you can change the color of the button. Tweety

jasonr Posts: 108 Rating: (2)	Hi Tweety, Thanks for your reply. Where would the script be executed from though? And also, could you give an example of how the script might look? I wasn't aware that it was possible to access properties of the web browser object other than those shown in the properties area in WinCC. The URL of the web browser can also be read through the "MyPage" property of the object in VB-script. Jason
