First I will say thank you, for your fast and good support / inputs ! I think the choice will be 6EP1961-3BA21, but is this product ATEX approved? The equipment inside the cabint has to be Atex zone 2 approved. Edit the post, I have googled more, and found this, please see the two attachement, for me it looks like it already been ATEX approver for zone 2 ? Have nice wekkend further. |

Hellokire,
Yes the module is certified for Zone 2. Also, Class I Division II is equivalent to Zone 2. Edit: In your link6EP1961-3BA21if you go for entries tab and chose certificates in entry type, you will find thisFor use in hazardous locations, CSA, CSA. Best regards, H-H |

Thank you for your confirmation, and extra info how to figure it out. Then I have only one question / conern left, what about diagnostic for power failure? For what I know can not PS307 give any diagnostic, but what about the redundacy module? |

Hello, Redundancy module6EP1961-3BA21is equipped with a Floating relay contact. this relay is enegized if both Input voltages > switching threshold. You can take this relay contact and wire to a PLC DI to monitor PS status. Here's bellow the manual: Hope this helps.

I guess you can use QUINT-DIODE/12-24DC/2X20/1X40 ( order number 2320157), it has ATEX : II 3G Ex nA IIC T4 Gc. Also Phoenix has 10A version - i don't know what power you need. Both have auxiliary contact for diagnostics. |
