Making a Java Applet / login window appears 2 times

Flux00 Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I have made the website and i have some applets generated by HCG and some of mine on the same page. The problem i am having is that the login window appears two times!! One for the generated applets and one for mine. How could i fix this so it will appear only one time? Any ideas and advices are welcomed... Best Regards, Theodore

Flux00 Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Dear J_Bell, Yes, that is right. According to the Java Console there are two beans of S7CP, S7DEVICE, S7VARIABLE, CLTIMER which means 2 connections. One for the generated applets and one for mine. Is there any way to use the same beans or the same connection at all applets? My first thought was, not to use generated applets and make them all by myself but i cannot find out how to use the getState() method for checking the state of CP and CPU. I do not think there is anywhere an example for that. So if there is not a solution about using the same beans or same connection maybe you could help me out with that... Best Regards, Theodore

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Theodore, I am afraid this prevents JAVA already. The Beans embedded within your Applet require a private Connection and the Applets within the Page require one. I am not deep enough into JAVA Programming to be able to change this... I am afraid. But what I am able to is to help you about the Status Beans. What do you want to do with it? Best regards J_Bell

This means that there has to be a way.... but.... nevermind. I would like to make my own Status applet for CP and CPU. I have looked in the S7BeansAPIJavaDoc and found out about the ProcessState() and getState(). So i made this code but something is not right... // I am not writing here the init(), start(), stop(), etc. I think they do not have to do anything with that //cp and cpu are declared as private int public void propertyChange(PropertyChangeEvent pce) { if (pce.getSource() == s7CP1){ s7Device1.propertyChange(pce); cp = ((Integer)pce.getState().intValue()); } if (pce.getSource() == s7Device1) cpu = ((Integer)pce.getState().intValue()); repaint(); } public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent ae) { if (ae.getSource() == cLTimer1){ s7CP1.processState(); s7Device1.processState(); } } //and this one to test the results public void paint(Graphics g){ g.drawString("CP "+ cp +"/n CPU " + cpu,0,0); } getState() returns int and processState() must be called before getState() Any ideas anyone what should i change?
