Hi Everyone,

I am trying to connect and download to a WinCC Professional server through an IXON VPN.

I am able to go online with the PLC that is on the same subnet and I am also able to ping the server I am trying to connect to. When I look under Simatic Shell I can only see my PC's name despite being able to access shared network folders in file explorer.

Is it possible to remotely download WinCC Pro with a VPN and if so what kind of settings need to be configured to do so?

There should be no problem downloading using a VPN.
