Malfunction in digital input module

DS SURESH KUMAR Bronze Member Joined: 4/17/2012 Last visit: 8/30/2024 Posts: 474 Rating: (10)	Dear Experts, I faced some problem in DI module.. please clarify and give your ideas. 16 channel DI i am using, when i connect the 24V in the input the LED is not glowing meanwhile i verified in VAT table also it was not true. If switch off or remove malfuction module from the slot and place again means it is working fine. Panel is in Airconditined room only. Temperature is maintained at 26 C. Panel is 90% in off condition only. They power up the panel oftenly. When ever customer power up it is having the malfunction. Some time if the panel is continuously in on state this problem is coming at frequently with different channel in different slots. Ex: Initially First Slot 5 Channel Then i power off and remove the module from slot and put again in same slot. The channel is working fine. After some few hours Third Slot 1st channel giving the problem. So if i done above procedure it will work as normal. In this condition i am not come to Conclusion, whether the channel or whole system itself problem??? Regards, DS.Suresh Kumar

What type of backplane used ? What you see in the Diagnostics of CPU During the Malfunction ? any other information of DI is this only having problem with DI Module only or with other Module also Say DO/AI/AO ?
