Hi,

I am trying to control a stepper motor via ktp400 basic panel. Program block contains, mc_power, Mc_home and absolute_move blocks and there are tags related with tese block. program runs perfect. But when it comes to control program via ktp 400 or scada program with simulation. i get "####" in i/o fields and cannot write or read anything from fields? 

What is the reason of this?

To my knowledge this ##### symbol can come from either one of 2 problems:

- the communication has been lost between the HMI and the PLC; you can check that by checking if other tags show a similar display.

- the size of the Input field is too small to accomodate the value that you are trying to display. Check the configuration of the IO filed and compare it to the numerical value you want it to show.

thanks alot, there were 4 ethernet adaptor setting in pc/pg settings i have tried them and second one establish the connection.

s7online-------------->realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.TCPIP.2

this was the setting for me.
