Mike(tm) Posts: 14 Rating: (5)	Hi, here i want to explain what the m2mopc.log logfile from the SINAUT Micro SC can indicate. You can find the logfile in the directory (default) C:\Program Files\Siemens\SINAUT MICRO SC. Having a look into this logfile can be worth when: - After a new configuration on the Remote Station side the Modem/PLC will not come online (C offline), although GSM/GPRS is connected (S and Q is on). Wrong configurations in the data block of the STEP 7-Micro/WIN project in the Remote Stationen (wrong modemname/-password, wrong station id, etc) will be indicated by the logfile. - During operating stage of your GPRS System many connection abortion happen. Via the logfile timestamps a pattern of the connection abortion can be created. (Maybe in combination with the settings in SINAUT Micro SC regarding the status actualizing "Status monitoring by value updates/RealTimeClock synchronization every XX Minutes/Seconds") - If there is absolutely NO entry in the logfile regarding your abnormal Remote Station then there is something wrong regarding IP-address/port in the Remote Station STEP 7-Micro/WIN project or there is something wrong in the (IT-) infrastructure between Remote Station and SINAUT Micro SC Server.
