MAS 21: SINAUT MD720-3 COMMUNICATION PROBLEM

aris_emmetron Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	HELLO I HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE SINAUT MD720-3. USE THE PROGRAM OF SIEMENS MAS21. CHANGING ALL PARAMETERS ACCORDING TO THE GREEK NETWORK AND IP to be connected. Put IN THE POWER AND THE PLC AND STARTS SINAUT communication. I download ALL PARAMETERS TO SINAUT AFTER TIME REMAINS THE LOOKS LED <<Q>> AND <<S>>. BUT NEVER OR lights flashing LED <<C>>. OR NOT attempting to connect. What is the problem I have; MAKE ME AND I HAVE A program similar to it does not work again. The same problem. And sends TO WATCH If you do not do something good. Lifrasil Bronze Member Joined: 9/29/2005 Last visit: 12/16/2024 Posts: 313 Rating: (24)	Hi, check your m2mopc.log-file in C:\program files\siemens\sinaut micro sc\. maybe there is an indication whats going wrong. furthermore, after having S and Q "ON" and C is still "OFF": remove cable and connect modemcable to your modem and to your pc. open hyperterminal on 9600bit/s 8bits parity:none 1stop-bit. then press the SET-button on your modem very short and the actual parameters should appear in your hyperterminal. check if your modem got an IP-address. check if your apn-address is correct. some providers differ between GPRS/INTERNET-apn-address and WAP-apn-address. Please give some feedback regards

TsVas Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Have you check that SIM cards that you use have GPRS service enabled? If yes you have to set the GPRS APN of the provider (e.g "internet" for COSMOTE) and APN user and APN password too.Also you have to set the provider's DNS (195.167.065.194 for COSMOTE) and the last is to have open the 26862 port in the Sinaut MicroSC Computer.
