Master OS can connect to PLC, Standby OS can not connect to PLC

For the problem, that just the Master OS get a connection to the PLC's in the plant, exist a easy solution. Reason for the problem isa connectionoption of the Namend Connection. You have to select Wincc Appl.(Stby.) in the Connection settings. You can manually customize this setting by deaktivated RT. When you have done this, you can't select an other option for the setting. Normally the ES do this setting when you download the Standby Server. One reason for this error is when you connect withRemote Desktop Protocol to the ES. Solution for this is to use a released Remote Software for SIMATIC PCS 7 or work local at the ES. Look here to find a released Software. |
