Master Slavbe Application sim.

erenakc Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi All ; I have been trying to master slave application.I configurated hardware cong and wrote logic program with sfc14 and sfc 15.I downloaded plc sim module and than start started cpu.But i coundt any transfer data from db14 to db15.can you explain to me.how can i communicate with plc sim. can i obtain any data with sim. It's no possible to test conection between 2 PLCSIM application. I wondered you has been able to run 2 different istances of PLCSIM, in my system i can't do it . Regards

See the following FAQ: Which components are not supported by S7-PLCSIM V5.4 up to and including SP2? @erenack, You should not use SFC14 and SFC15 for communicating between 2 PLC's. SFC14/15 are for reading/writing DP slave records. Instead try using FB209:SEND_R and FB210:REC_R from the PCS7 library. You need to form a S7 connection (after inserting CP443-1)and download the connection to both PLC's. I am curious toknow if it works with PLCSIM! Regards

erenakc Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Thank you for your message.I configurated dp hardware and connected on profibus of cpu.i coundt see any fault code both of sfc 14 and sfc 15.And Then i wantted to receive and send data bettwenn master slave cpu`s but i didnt.It is possible send or receive data betwewn two cpu with plc sim.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi erenakc, You should try using BSEND/BRCV or PUT/GET. IMO, SFC14/15 will not work since these blocks read/write consistent data from/to a standard DP slave like ET200M... In the link I posted above, it isclearly stated that you can establish communication between 2 PLCSIM's and all the standard communication blocks are supported. Can you tell me the order numbers of the 2 CPU's you are using? I want to try the Profibus comm. with 2 PLCSIM's! Regards

erenakc Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Thank you for oyur ways.I used sfc 14 and sfc 15 between CPU 416-2 serie's to connect master slave app. in pcs7 programs.I coundt any error code in logic progrma but i can not see any data transfer.I dont understnad.If connection is not true it should be error code or message. Thanks
