Hi Silversand ! I just wanted to give you a tip out of my practical experience. If you are using Master Slave configuration for the mobile application e.g some equipment moving on rails etc. and especially in high temperature area then give a thought about the following scenario - If the Slave drive fails then you still may have the possibility to bring your equipment to a predetermined position just with the Master. What happens when the master fails ??? I think it is practical to provide a possibilty for the Slave drive to be switched into a Standalone mode in case of failure of the Master. |

True_Blue,Amar n Bhaskaran Thankyou for replying. True_Blue: But I was expecting a standard program release which I can refer to. Amar Kalekar: In my case the coupling is not fixed so I dont want to giv etorque setpoints to the slave drive. Bhaskaran: Yes I do have to operate the drive independently I will have to give them CW separately. |

If moth motors are coupled by mechanical load. then Make Integrator of slavedrive speed controller in off mode and send speed setpoint of master to slave. |
