If I have a text that changes + background color + text color on 1 tag. Does this count as one tag or 3? Sorry for briefness am on mobile. Ton

I do not believe that this limit can be increased. What are the functional differences between the different SIMATIC panels? A tag is a single definition in the panel's memory; functions applied to them are not defined as new tags. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

For internal tags I think there are much higher limits, usually not reached in practical scenarios. External tag number is counted to enable licencing, the maximum usable amount is defined by the lincence you have purchased.

But with a maximum as mentioned that was not the case. And since it was a panel, not PC application, no license was bought. But thanks.
