Hello anuchisa you can configure as many ALARM_S related Alarms as you wish. The "quantity framework" limit of 300 for a CPU319-3 PN/DP is the limit for the maximum number of simultaneously active ALARM_S blocks. What this means is that should you have more than300Alarmsbecoming active at thesame moment in time, you will either miss some of them or the reporting of them will be delayed. I've never tested this limit and can't say for sure which applies, the help on ALARM_Ssimly states that: If the number of SFC 17 or SFC 18 calls is higher than the maximum amount of CPU system resources, this may result in a lack of resources (instance overflow). This is indicated both by the information in RET_VAL as well as by indications at the logged on display devices. I hope this helps |
