Hello guys, Somewhere on the forum or so, I thought I saw that the maximum size of a SCL source should be below 16kbytes. Something with the maximum size of a instance DB. My SCL source is 16520 bytes and I want to know if I need to divide the SCL source of that I'm wrong about this. I'm using PCS7 7.1, don;t know if there is a difference. Thank you, Regards, Sandor |

Hello Smiffy, Thanks for your reply.. I think i'm mistaken with the DB limit, like I already thought. I couldn't find any info on that matter in the helpfiles. [schnippschnapp] Thanks |

Hello, I was looking into some of my old threads. I have received this error some more times during the years The solution is that during copying of parameters, something went wrong. So when I defined a parameter , after the last character (which is comment), there was a long additional space created during copying. The only way to see this is when holding the mouse button and slide to the end, you'll see the space light up in blue (sorry I don't have a screenshot). This is what's making the error. I tried to visualize this: Test {S7_m_c:='true'} :BOOL:=FALSE; //Comment<blank space> I deleted the blank space and the code was compiling fine |
