Dear all. I hope you have a nice day. I use two SIMOTION D425-2DP within two 6SL3320-1TG34-7AA3 Power Module in Servo mode to perform the speed control of two 171KW, 733RPM, 0-690V, 182A, 3 pairs of poles induction motor individually. I have been asked about the maximum speed that the system can work, in this context, for the motor number one the parameter p1082 = 733 RPM, for motor number 2 p1082 = 803 RPM. In the topic 'https://support.industry.siemens.com/forum/ww/en/posts/s120-speed-limit/186043' it was mentioned that the maximum frequencies for vector and V/f-control is always 650 Hz. I have been studying the function manual of S120, but unfortunately I could not find the same information regarding Servo control. I would like your help to identify the maximum frequency for Servo control aiming at answering the question pointed to me. Attached is a pdf file with prints of the system data. Thank you in advance. Hello, Please note, that a license for high frequencies above 600 Hz is required due to international export control regulations. So it would be possible to run 600 Hz without additional license. I guess your motor has 3 Pole pairs. So it is possible to achive a speed of 600Hz/3Polepairs * 60 = 12000 RPM. That is wide out of the range of your motor. The maximum possible outputfrequency with S120, you find in the FH1. 5.1 Comparison between servo control and vector control https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109781535 |
