MAxum GC Network Communication to AMADAS Server throug OPC or other options

The GC network alsoconnected with AMADAS server through ethernet link.Please advise thesolution (required softwares & hardwares togetall GC data to AMADAS server through ethernet connectivityor any other solution to communicate fromAMADAS server to GC network.

Dong Huilai Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Since you already send the data to DCS through MODBUS, OPC is the best option to acquire the data from DCS to AMADAS.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well... as far as I found out the MAXUM units may have also a OPC Server themselves. It should be no big problem to interconnect a OPC Client to the OPC Server to collect data then. I am not sure if the MAXUM GC you use also supports the OPC functionality but this would be the best way to go. I hope the people by Process Instrumentation will be able to help you.
