But this also only works on DBs with "Optimized block access" deactivated. Witch is the opposite of what the documentation is saying

I know, the documentation is confusing.

You may however deactivate "Optimized block access". The checkbox is located in the properties on the FB for the instance DB.

Another way of solving you problem is to connect MB_HOLD_REG to an array of bytes, and then use the serialize function to copy the real-values over to the array.

Good idea with the byte array and the Serialize function! I will try that now!

The solution with byte array and serialization works! Now all can be a part of my Instance block and no need for disable "Optimized block access"
