Hello,

with switching off "MC_Power" you will use e-stop ramp to stop axis. After this, I think, you have to use "MC_Reset" to quit alarms and "MC_Power" to switch on power again.

But is it not the main problem to detect photo-cell signal in the CPU and the delay between signal detection and start of "MC_Halt" or switching off "MC_Power"?

 The main problem is that the mc_halt does not stop the servo when the axis traveled the 95% or more of its displacement. Even if i try to use mc_moveabsolute to the opposite side, the driver just reach its programed displacement. Tomorrow i will try first to use move jog and compare it with the displacement of the axis.position to move the servo the mm i want. If this does not work, i will try to use the mc_power as the stop metod. 

i am just in search of a way to do a cyclic work with the Motion control and the servo drive, where the axis must move to a 95-98% of its position, then must search the input signal known as photo-cell.

Tomorrow i will try to use mc_movevelocity or mc_movejog with a comparator where axis.position is my reference. If someone have a good idea of how i can manage this, please feel free to comment, because i will try it too.

I have 6ES7-214-1AE30-0XB0 series product I have SINAMICS s110 cu 305 dp with this product I cut bags with this product I chose from the technology catalog I drive a pulse with mc_moverelative when I see the photocell it needs to stop the position and cut I do it with mc_halt but it doesn't work what should I do
