Hallo, This is regarding the MC command - MC_Power. The busy bit is always high (job is running) even after the Power is disabled. Is that normal? It was not an issue for me to enable and disable my drive, until I try to acknowledge the errors using MC_Reset.Restart - One of the precondition for the acknowledging alarms using MC_Reset to work was that MC_Power.Busy must be 0. I read some questions in Forum related to busy bit stuck at true. In my case, I dont have any TO error. I am attaching the timing diagram here. In the figure, Enable_Drive is the switch for me to make MC_Power.Enable high. I am using S7 1500, TIA 15. Regards, Bindu PS: I tried Ack_Alarms and it acknowledges the error. But I still have the doubt on the busy bit state. And hence I cannot acknowledge using MC_Reset command. AttachmentMC_power_busy.pdf (276 Downloads) |

Hello, that is not normal behavior. Do you use the right firmware version of S7-1500 in combination with the right version of PLCopen motion control functions (FB)? For more information about that, please have a look to the manual:
Additional, you could also have a look to the following application example. Maybe it will be helpful for you:
