Md720-3 gsm module

I ve used the sample program of sms example available on the forum.I commissioned it on hyperterminal it works fine.But when i try on plc it doesn't work,the modem is not initialised. i am using 1SI ascii module 32 byte. Help me if it's possible....

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, 1) do you check, if the baudrate of 1SI and MD720 are identical? 2) do you use the correct cable (null-modem cable)? 3) do you use 6ES7138-4DF01-0AB0 as 1SI? 4) do you use the blocks for the ET200S? There are different codes in the library available... Greetings.

When i copy the blocks from the sms example in my project and change the addressses in my project,the plc goes in stop mode. changed addressses are:1.Modem init 2.Sms Send 3.message no,order no. help me if it's possible

Open OB1 and update the instances “File > Check and Update Accesses” Set within the properties of the Instance-DB the option "Non Retain ". „Object Properties> General Part2> Non Retain“ Save and once again download OB1 and the instances. Gaurav2Deshmukh Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am using the MD720-3 Gsm module i tried it with hyperterminal it works.I also tried it with plc,but there is some problem.According to the program i get the modem initialisation & sms send bit true,but the sms is not being send. I tried the following process: 1.allocation of Message_no to texts & TelNo.I entered the smsc no & tel no. 2.initialize modem & send sms variable via vat table. 3.i also monitered the scl block, same result "sms send=true" 4.I am using 32byte ascii module. 5. i also checked the wiring between gsm module & ascii module from the following manual below.
