rko123 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi! I have problems with sending sms. I read all manuals about MD720-3 but i cannot find any more ideas to solve the problem. I used library SMS_sr_ET_200S. When i hit input INIT to 1, time of initialization starts. After 30 seconds i get error - status 8109. (timer of initialization is set to 30 seconds, also tried 1 minute) I tried to connect over hyper terminal. Everythink works perfect. SMS is send normaly. In program i tried several different options. Changing communication speed 9600, 19200, ... Cyclic block call (100ms) , ... When init is trigged, TX an RX leds blinks about 5 times and then nothing. Does anyone have any idea what i am missing? TNX

Some ideas: you have the correct number for the sms message central of your provider? you got the correct pin? Which is the state of the project where you are stucking? (value of n_state before the timeout?) can you read SCL? Best Regards, Fafner

If you have program, kindly share it. I am using 9 pin D type connector on MD720-3 module, it's pin no. 2 is connected to pin 5 of 6es7138-4df01-0ab0 pin 3 is connected to pin 1 of 6es7138-4df01-0ab0 and pin 5 is connected to pin 8 of 6es7138-4df01-0ab0 is it correct? Fafner Silver Member Joined: 3/20/2013 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 676 Rating: (44)	OK, so far: as you get till 206 the pins are correct: the MD and your 1SI are communicating. so there must be a 'bad' answer of the moden or you are sending a bad command. are you using the example for simatic manager or the one for STEP 7 Vxx?
