I´m trying to configure a Measuring Input as a Global Measuring (Simotion D onboard input) in a Simotion D435 with Sinamics S120 as shown in the "image1.jpg" attached. Measuring Input address: PI278.2 - it´s configurated as a free message frame in Scout PROFIdrive message frame ("image2.jpg") andCU address in the HW Config in "image3.jpg". I save and compile with no errors, but when I check the consistency an error is shown "Error:D435: There is no configuration of a free message frame for the I/O: 'Measuring_input_1: LogAddress.logAddress' (address: PI278.2)" (see the error message in the output box in"image1.jpg"). I´m using Simotion D435 V4.1 and Scout V4.1 SP2. Please, could someone help me ?? Best regards.

JakitGT Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	If the measuring input is tied to an individual axis(ie, you won't use the same inputfor multiple axes), then set it up as a local measuring input. In Sinamics, you must then link the associated drive to the correct onboard measuring input via parameter 488. In this method, you don't need a special telegram for the measuring inputs. Plus, the position reading is done in Sinamics, then passed back up to Simotion, so the reading can be much more accurate. In the global method, sinamics passes a time, not a position. Simotion then uses this time to make a calculated guess of where the axis was when the measuring input was triggered. Greg

Regards Christoph Hello Christoph, Thanks for your answer and link, but I tried the steps suggested in the FAQ, more specifically in the topic 2.4.9 - Error Elimination, but when I try to do the step #5 (Load the configuration to the D4xx and the SINAMICS Integrated with "load project to target system". Activate the option "copy RAM to ROM after loading") the same error appearsin theoutput box ( Error --- There is no configuration of a free telegram for the I/O: 'measuring_input_1: LogAddress' (address: PI278.2) and the download is not completed. Greg Hello Greg, Could you explain with much details this method you´ve mentioned ?? I couldn´t find P448 in CU Expert list ! Regards.

When the CU have "Free Message Frame" no configuration will be created ! P448: Is a parameter of the Drive , not of the CU. Regards Christoph

Export the FastIO Configuration and post the file here, i will check if the configuration is crearted and is correct. Regards Christoph
