Hello nishu your ultimate limit is the WORK memory which is currently 59% full and which you can NOT increase. Your MMC based Load memory holdsadditional data which is NOT transfered into the Work memory, hence your (expandable) MMC Load memory needs to be larger than your (non-expandable) Work memory (assuming you want to be able toutilise nearlyall of your inbuilt work memory). You didn't say which 315 CPU you have, butif we presume it has 128KB of work memory you (ideally)operate it with a larger than 128KB MMC. Having said that, buying an 8MB MMC will make only your Siemens Sales rep happy but would be wasteful in your case. Go for the next size up (512 KB) and keep your Fingers crossed that you don't run of work memory. You'll find some hopefully more useful info in the two links below: How can you determine the size of the load memory and main memory of a S7-300/400 CPU? STEP 7 - different load memory usage of two equal-sized data blocks I hope this helps |
