Memory Card For Older S7-315 2DP

TechnoDude Posts: 47 Rating: (1)	Hello: I have a Memory Card FEPROM 128 KB 6ES7 951-0KG00-0AA0 for my older 6ES7-315-2AF03-0AB0 CPU (S7-315 2DP) (Work memory 64 KB; 0.3 ms/1000 instructions; MPI + DP connection (DP master or DP slave); multi-tier configuration up to 32 modules, Send and Receive capability for direct communication, constant bus cycle time, routing, firmware V1.0). I do not know how to program this card so it will have everything possible for automatic reloading in the event that the CPU battery dies and the program and data is lost. Can someone lead me to a document with a step-by-step process, please? Many thanks!!

Once it is loaded, if you do a memry reset or lose power, the CPU will read the contnts of the memory card before startup and load the program into RAM. You will find specific operations of the FEPROM in case of memory reset that shouldclarify the procedurein the manuals above. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
