Memory problem after upgrade v7.1

The compiled programm of v6.0 was about 700k. The compiled programm of v7.1 is about 800k, which is exactly the max of the (old) AS. Is there a way to compact the programm, or do I have to buy a new cpu? Kind regards

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (276)	Can you provide order number of the CPU and Load Memory RAM submodule? Probably you can replace the submodule. When you say size of the compiled program do you mean program size in the load memory? Obviously the block lengths have increased in the new version,a PLC compression will not help. Regards

Forest Flower Regular Member Joined: 8/28/2008 Last visit: 9/30/2022 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Ordernr cpu: 6ES7 416 2XK02 0AB0 V3.1. Problem is the workmemory of 0.8MB for user program. With v6.0 the program used 730k, with v7.1 it uses 780k Regards
