Message acknowledgment problem

nikolas Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hello again.... to everyone I have a new problem with alarm logging. In message classes I've made a new one (Add/Remove...) and have set it properties for acknowledgment as in the System, requires acknowledgment (mark Acknowledgment Came In and Messsages Without Status "Went Out", and have seleceted By Means Of Single Ack.). Then I have created new alarm messages, and have set some Acknowledgment tag (bit). But when I have in Graphics Editor set an WinCC Alarm Control and try it in Runtime the acknowledgment does not react. The message appears but seting acknowledgment bit does not do what have I set to do (changes background and font color and in status column nothing appears). Can someone give me instructions of all procedure how to set message acknowledgment, because I obviously doing something wrong. Please help and thanks in advance! nikolas

Goodvin Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I have made all same (see pic. below), have checked up - it work. WhenIset acknowledge bit to "1"- the message acknowledging. Try to create new message. P.S. WinCC 6.2 HF5 Attachment Alarms.gif (57 Downloads)

I'm using byte not bits, but have selected tag as unsigned 8-bit value and have selected acknowledgment bit also.... I think that problem may be in overloaded data base of those messages, cause few times the acknowledgment appears and other times does not. I think I have set up everything ok..... I'm really .... nikolas
