Hi Experts,

I have made an S7 1200 TIA V14 PLC program that establishes TSEND_C and TRCV_C Ethernet connections with an Ethernet to serial RS232 box. I am interested to know the best method to send various different commands from the send area. 

All the command are 6 bytes long, so my send area is the first 6 bytes of a byte array in a DB. I have all the needed commands in the same byte array in the DB starting from below the first 6 bytes. I then move, using MOVE_BLK",  the relevant command to the send area and then initiate the send request.

Would this be considered a good way to send the various different commands when needed? Or is there a better way? Like changing the send area pointer instead of moving the command data?

I would do it in the same way. But also the other way you mentioned is ok.
