Hello ElectroTCC; Integration of Profibusslaves of different manufacturers is done through a tool called the gsd file; it can also be known as gde, gsf, gsg.... depending on the language used to create it. A gs_ file contains all the information a Profibus-DP master needs to interface with a certain Profibus-DP slave; it is the responsability of the slave manufacturer to rpovide the gd_ file for its product tso it can be integrated in any Profibus configuration. You probably do not have the gsd file for the NPBA-82 (ABB_6012.gsd)in the TIA Portal Profbus configurator, so you cannot select it for your project. You can probably find it in the gsd directory of your Step 7 files and copy it to TIA Portal directories, or you can unzip the version attached and integrate it to TIA Portal. Edit: in thew following FAQ the integration of a GSD file in TIA Portal is described: SINAMICS / MICROMASTER 4: Use of STARTER and STEP7 V11 together with Siemens frequency converters Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier AttachmentC:\Users\chard2\Documents\SForm\ABB_6012.zip (165 Downloads) |
