Migrating PCS7 V6.0 to V8.0 incl. PDM

Maraitorzzzzz Posts: 140 Rating: (7)	HI, We can't migrate the V6.0 to V8.0 directely. Better do the migrations as per the versions step by step. Note: Before starting the migration. We are having " Export file converter" in which we need to convert PDM devices source files to V8.0. And integrate the devices by using " Device integration manager".

Better do the migrations as per the versions step by step. Note: Before starting the migration. We are having " Export file converter" in which we need to convert PDM devices source files to V8.0. And integrate the devices by using " Device integration manager". Can you explain for me please, give me more details about "Export file converter" please. Thank You

Collect all source files of PDM devices and convert one by one souce file. In Export file converter add souce file in source column and press convert. By using device integration manager add coverted souce file and press integrate to project. Do it for all the devices. And migrate the project.
