I need to migrate an S7 program from one system to another.

The system has an S7 300 station with four ET200SP slaves. The hardware configuration is totally the same except the CPU, that the version has changed.

The original is: 6ES7 315-2FH13-0AB0

The CPU in the test bench is: 6ES7 315-2FJ14-0AB0

What can be the reasons of not recognizing the slave units if also the network configuration is all the same? After downloading the hardware configuration it does not recognize the ET200SP. The IP addresses are shown as 0.0.0.0 in online mode. The interface modules are blinking. The connections are done with Profibus.

it is not really clear what's the correct config.

You talk about IP Adresses and PROFIBUS, but PROFIBUS have no IP Adress!
Can you make a screenshot of the HWConfig with the new PLC?

ok have you set the Name Of Station and IP manually on the ET200SP Modules?

You can do that with menu PLC-> Ethernet-> edit Ethernet nodes

This must be done if you have not specified a PROFINET Topology in the project.

We did not set the name of the station since we are taking a working project and applying it to a new hardware that has the same configuration (same modules) as the original working one with just one exception, the version of the CPU.

please start the edit ethernet Nodes in simatic Manager.
For this connect the PC to a free Port of a device of the PN Network or on the PLC.
Search for devices an let us show which devices are found.

If you connect to one Port of the PN Interface on the PLC and the ET200 stations connected to the other port and no et200 devices are found then check the cable between PLC and ET200!

It is not a problem of the cables. If we create the same hardware configuration on a new project by scratch and after setting all the safety program, it does recognize the ET200SP modules without any problem. Our question is why the existing HW configuration with the existing code does not find the ET200SP? Are there any addresses that need to be reset? What else needs to be taken into account when migrating this kind of program? 

We would like to reuse the existing program instead of a new HW configuration because we would loose the hardware reference addresses of the different variables.
