Hi,

I am new to PLCs and have the challenge of migrating WinCC Flexible 2008 V5.5 + SP4 graphics to TIA Portal V13 SP1.

I am able to check the block consistency and resolved any issues there, but when it comes to migrating the project I get errors in TIA Portal saying that the current MP177 6" is not supported. I understand that it is no longer in the hardware catalog for V13 but I can't update the HMI in WinCC to anything that isn't not supported by V13. TIA Portal does not give the option to change devices or update to newer models. Any tips on how to resolve this? It does this with or without ticking the box for including hardware configuration.

Are you sure that you mean WinCC Flexible V5.5 + SP4?

I think you mean WinCC V5.5 SP4.
