Hi salman,
what do you really means: - integrated in Simatic or just having access to PCS7 database? - installed on same station or installed on different station wirh data exchange? It will better have a list of that "external" SW to give you an hexaustive answer. Anyway, just for starting: PCS7 v6 was working on Win 2K and MSQL 2000 SP3, PCS7 v7 it works over Win Xp SP2 with MSQL2005. Check compatibility between "not Siemens application" and new platform at first. Then check the manual UMENCHOgave to you. Regards |

Hi salman92, Sorry but I am totally confused now! Do you mean you have no ES (Engineering Station)? Without ES no migration is possible... Regards |
