Migration Problem From Wincc Flexibe 2008 sp2 to TIA Portal Wincc Advanced V11 SP2 Up4

tk19 Posts: 59 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have project in which I Have developed the HMI program in MP 277 10" but now My HMI is change to TP 1200 Comfort Panel. through TIA Portal Wincc Advanced V11 SP2 Up4 Software I am converting the program from MP 277 10" to TP 1200 Comfort Panel but during Migration i am getting the following Message. "The Expected sql instance WINCCPLUSMIG is not available.The Migration Option for V11.0 or Wincc Flexible SP2/SP3 is not installed." So i am not able to convert the program so any one have any idea to solve the problem then tell me.

javed88 Bronze Member Joined: 7/19/2011 Last visit: 1/21/2025 Posts: 262 Rating: (5)	Dear tk19 While Installing TIA software have you selected the migration option as what error you are getting is an SQL error which means that in your PC particular SQL Server is not there. So i think u have not selected the migration option , thatswhy you are not able to Migrate your file

Juan.Mechatronic Posts: 98 Rating: (6)	I had the same problem, I just installed "The Migration tool for TIA V1" and that fix down the problem And I can migrate projects without problems hope this help you
