Migration project

Hello! I have a question.

On the BENHIL machine we use PLC S7 CPU 412-2 (412-2XJ05-0AB0) which is connected to MT370 panel (6AV6 545-0DA10-0XA0) via the MPI cable.

The project for PLC is written with Simatic manager S7, and the one for the panel with ProTool.

We have to change the panel and we bought the new SIMATIC HMI TP 1200 COMFORT (6AV2124-0MC01-0AX0) as a replacement.

Is it enough to migrate just the project for the panel with TIA WinCC V11 or do we need to do it for both the PLC and the panel?

I’m new at this so I would appreciate any help I can get.

Hello,

first you must migrate the Protool to WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2.

Then you must change the panel to a type which is supported in TIA , MP377.

After that xou can migrate the project from WinCCFlex to TIAS Portal.

yes can be in Step7 V5.x

You can use the CPU Proxy Device so sync the Data to the TIA Portal.
