migration WiCC V6.0 to WinCC V6.2

G2481 Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have WinCC V6.0 project and need toopen in WinCC V6.2. I have migrated WinCC V6.0 projectsuccessfully to WinCC V6.2but when I put that project in run time it get stuck-up at User archivingand does not go ahead. Would someone please write me its solution? Thanks in advance.

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	I have seen that WinCC 6.2 requires much better computer than 6.0 to go to runtime. Have you trieddisabling user archive runtime in startup optionjust to see if User archive is the real issue.

G2481 Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	thanks for reply. i was already tried that by disable user archive in run time but it still not going in run time. i think there is no any problem relarding PC. i am using dell precision series having 4 GB of RAM & P4 2.33 GHz. i installed only WinCC v6.2 not SP2. so, its problem because of this? billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (120)	Look at the file \\Program Files\Siemens\Wincc\Diagnose\WinCC_SStart_0x.log where x is a number. This should give you an indication on where the system is hanging. My experience isAlarm Logging or Tag Loggingare normally the culprits. Otherwise, in the Startup tab of the computer properties, you can uncheck everything but GraphicRuntime and attempt to start up. If successful, then keep adding runtimes until you find the one that is failing. Then we can determine how to proceed. Bill
