Is it possible to mimic the PLC LEDs of an S7-1200 with a basic panel? We have:

• RUN / STOP
• ERROR
• MAINT

For the RUN / STOP status, this would be straight forward in a Comfort panel using tasks scheduled with cyclic triggers.

Can OB82 (Diagnostic hardware interrupt) be used?

Due to the lack of cyclic triggers for scheduled tasks on a Basic Panel, the "GetPLCMode" system function may not be an option. This would only allow the RUN/STOP LED to be mimicked. However, you can use the "LED" instruction within the PLC to provide the state of the LEDs. Note that this would only be possible in RUN mode.
