Hie all,

I need to configure WinCC Advance RT to communicate as modbus master with multiple slave devices. Where i can able to read single device only. M finding difficulty to read Float data from other device. these are the modbus address and function code used.

device 1 - Function Code: 4 : Input register

                 Modbus address : 30071. ( this data not readable in WinCC)

Device 2 - Function code: 1: Input Status

                 modbus address : 10001. ( data Read in WIncc).

P.S: device1 : energy meter, Device 2 : ICP CON DI module

hope I'm not wrong but probably problem is that you want read Input register but inside WinCC you've defined address for Holding register -> 40001, here I expect 30001, correct?
