Hi, I think that S7 will be a Modbus slave... So you muss configure the adresses in the properties of the protocool. The pacage stay in the adress http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8715908. Togheter with the software comes also a manual and software sampes. |

Hi Capriconian, That not that difficult, first of all you have to know which functioncodes they needed, after that you might choose the Modbus Slave in the Hardware on a CP441-2 or a CP341. There you can give the different functioncodes the data that can be used from the CPU. Further you have to load the FB80 {S7-300} or the FB180 {S7-400} from the example and ready. [;)] You can read this in the handbook thats coming with the Modbus Slave Driver : Loadable driver CP PtP Modbus Slave V3.1.4the handbook is installed when you install this software. The driver have to be loaded on the Communication Processor, this is only possible when the little key is in the CP. |

Most simple way to transfer data between siemens s7300 plc and ab plc is SST card. A third party card provided by SST. This will work in Master -Slave combination. for transfer of data. |

You are right JAYPATIL, but in this case you have to use PROFIBUS DP. But anyway, this works really fine if you get it to work. Best regards J_Bell |
