modbus communication suggestion

Ratan Experienced Member Joined: 12/7/2010 Last visit: 3/8/2025 Posts: 94 Rating: (0)	Dear All i am facing problem with modbus communication with danfoss Ac drive setting inside danfoss drive station add 2 protocol modbus RTU parity even stop bit1 baud rate 9600 i have attached program here problem is that busy bit at modbus master FC is set to 1 i am sending request at clock cycle 1Hz

hschaft Posts: 57 Rating: (8)	First, do you have any software monitoring the data traffic going from the PLC to drive? If not, you may want to try something like ModSim32 which allows you to monitor data. This would allow you to see if the drive is actually responding and if it is responding at the right baud rate. Second, for the baud rate of 9600 try a response timeout of 100ms on the MB_COMM_LOAD. Hope this helps. Will check back....
