How to read/write float values in Modbus RTU?

Hi,
I can able to read and write the digital signals from Modbus RTU. Also in the case of analog signals i can able to read/write the integer values from it, but in float values i cant....i am getting some other values , not the exact one (shows some ranges including negative and positive values), pls give me a solution...is there any coversion is needed?

Thanks for the reply...i tried with word and byte again its not showing the exact value..is there any conversion is needed? I tried with word its shown as the 1st screenshot image with the rtu value, and when i tried with byte, its shown in 2nd screenshot

Thanks for your support, here am attaching the screeshots of my demo winccoa project which am learning, also i dont want to make any change in RTU tag and now i have to read only one analog input tag(578). Here am attaching the screenshots with explanations,

• Tags: all the tags created in RTU , i want the 578 address analog input tag
• Configuration1: created configuration in winccoa flap2 dp>input>opening(float)
• Value: here is the value am getting when i change the analog signal in RTU

Thanks for the support, now i can read/ write the exact float values. Its the conversion prblm of bigendian to littleendian.
