Hello, 

We are communicating with modbus master on a CPU1214 to a slave. .

The system is becomming bigger so we had to go over to a CPU1513 and ET200 (IM 155-6 PN ST) with a CM PtP card. 

But since we did the changes the system is somethimes working and somethimes not. Is there any specificity with the change to the ET200? 

we user the Modbus_Comm_load block to initiate the module, and then the Modbus_Master block to communicate.

thanks for your first response and sorry for the delay but the system is in another country and it is difficult to get acces to is. 

We currently get error 8281 with the modbus master, the status wrrec stays at zero. 

while with modbus comm load give no error (status 7000). 

I checked in the error messages but don"t understand the explanation. 

I got more information about the error, but I Don't find this error code in the documentation

Thanks with that info we found the problem but not the rootcause.

Modbus_Master_Instance_ > Static > MB_DB_SPORT Is not automatically set to the right port : it stays at W #16 #FFFF 

But when we force it to the right port it is working. (in our case 16 # 0136). 

Do you have an idea why the port is not adapting in the Modbus_master_instance? 

It is not really an option to force the port Inside the DB.
