Modbus RTU Master to Dixell Controller

PAUK-Ltd Advanced Member Joined: 1/3/2014 Last visit: 3/10/2025 Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I am really struggling with this as I have never done Siemens Modbus before and it was added to the project late on so I am trying to do this on site. I have a Dixell IC208 CX module and I have tried many different things from the manual, the samples on here and by trying to figure it out from error codes I am getting. I have still not managed to get any communications with the unit and now have error code 0C60 but even Siemens support couldn't tell me what this was. Can anyone offer any advice on how I can get this to work? S7-313C-2PN/DP Processor CP341 Modbus Card FB8 Call is in OB1 Data to be sent is in FC100 I will attach both the PLC code and the Dixell (next post) manual for your information. Regards, Kaulquappe Quite possibly, this is why I am asking for help with the Modbus as I don't know how to rectify the fault or where I am going wrong with this.

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (324)	Hello Ian, the Modbus manual shows how you should set up the send buffer. Evaluating your project is time intensive. I prefer to check a screen shot. Just add a screen shot of your send DB. Regards, Kaulquappe
