Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	Saravana kumar In this program I have used FB50 as the Modbus standard block; this block can be called multiple times in your program. One block call is for one number of CP341 Modbus master modules. Till now what I faced in CP341modbus Master program that at a time only one slave is querried , Multiple Querrying at the same time creates error. also the reply time of the Slaves is slow which Client also complaints. I did CP341 Modbus Master with EM 6400 Energy meters. However I must appreciate for sparing some time to think about this.

With me also lot of times customer asked the same question and I have exlained clearly to make him to understand about modbus commnication. In my project I have used FB50 two times and it was working fine. There will not be any problem about quering two CP341's at a time because the CP341 is having its own controller to query the modbus slave and it is not going to overload the main CPU.

In this meter i have received proper wh reading.But problem in EM6400 meter only. Let me know you did any byte swapp for that EM6400 wh reading?... Please tell me that EM6400 meter version which is used in your project.... Kindly give us reply Thanks in advance.

Sorry I mistook your point earlier. Its basically calling the multiple FBs for multiple CP341. Earlier I was thinking, Multiple FBs for one CP341 in a project.
