Dear All,

Attached is the sample project for the Modbus communication between ET200SP CM PtP - 6ES7 137-6AA00-0BA0  and the third party (slave) devices.Manual for slave devices used in program backup also integrated in the attachment.

Main driver block is FB50 (Modbus_Master_SCL) and this block should be called for each CM PtP module.

Blocks associated with the FB50 is,

Modbus Comm Load  Standard FB

Modbus_Master Standard FB

FC 50   = Block_Move

DB150 = Send list DB (Modbus Queries list)

DB151 = Modbus Data (Received Data’s)

Advantages of using this block,

1. You can set more then one query to the modbus slave devices.
2. Communication failure status for each query is available as FB 50 Variable Out.
3. Minimum time between each queries achieved by increment query based on status of previous query. 
4. Data DB Byte offset and Data Type of each query can be  can be entered directly in the Sendlist DB (at each query structure).
5. FB 50 can be called multiple times in the program with different set of Send and Data DB's.
6. Use Modbus Master_SCL watch table in the sample project for testing of your devices.

Use the Modbus block and achieve communication tasks quickly and easily without any problem.

Hello, I managed to unzip the files and view code. Or at least what is not protected. I have an external flowmeter with Modbus RTU communication  I haven't been able to get a Word out of it using an ET200SP CM PtP module and a 1513-1 PN PLC. Seeing that you call the Modbus Comm Load and Modbus Master funtions, how are they parametrized? Could you please send a picture?

For your understanding,

Communication Load block IO's are connected from the Variable_Input of the Modbus_Master_SCL FB.

Modbus Master  block IO's are connected from the Modbus_Sendlist_DB.

I've tried multiple times to extract and combine these files using different zip software and none of them will create it as one retrievable project.

Would you be able to upload it as a single file download or provide more advice on how you extract and combined them? i.e. what unzip software you use, which order you unzip to etc?
