Modbus TCP Error 80B7

AutoGenesiS Posts: 22 Rating: (2)	Hi guys.I have problem with mb_client.It gives me 80B7 and this error no tech. documentation.What is reason that problem.? In this way i am using MB_Master and ;MB_Commload also that plc master.Can i use both MB_Master and MB_Client.? Thank you.

Why you want mix Serial or Ethernet connection types? You have also serial card on CPU and also your partner? In other case, your STATUS value point to not correct partner IP address defined or address set as 0.0.0.0 so check this for first. Another problem can be also partner Port value 0.

So you just need Modbus_client and/or Modbus_server. I think the Error 80B7 comes from the internal used T_CON-block. Check the IP and Port settings in your TCON_IP_v4 CONNECT-parameter. hope this helps, regards,

AutoGenesiS Posts: 22 Rating: (2)	Hi guys, I thank all of you.First;i have 4 plc and first 3 plc have not connection to ethernet also close my master plc,other plc has connection to network and to so away point.Therefore,i used cm241 modbus rtu for 3 plc and for other plc modbus tcp. I check parameter TCON_IP_V4 and i saw remote port 0 after i change from 0 to 502 and it works now.But i had to restart system. Thank you again.
