MODBUS TCP in H Sys - How to get the data from all communication partners?

Kanag's Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi I have one more doubt. My configuration has 41 Simac Power Meters PAC3200 and they will be comunicating to 414H system through redundant CP443-1. In this case I will configure CP as client to get the data using standard FB "MODB4H". Moreover the H sys has to send some data to the BMS DCS. In this case it has to act as Server. Whether the CP can act as both server & client? If so whether I need to call the FB twice ( one as server & one as client)? In the netpro, for the CP config as server for the DCS communication, I have created a connection with the local port ID as 502 and remote ID as 2000. Whether I can add one more connection as server for other station? I have final query. How to get the data from all the 41 power meters? All are connected through Scalance. As I checked in the manual, in the netpro we need to create new connection with the remote stations when the CP is acting as client. Now I have 41 remote stations. For all 41 stations I have given 502 as ID and the local IDs from 2001...2041. Whether I need to call FB for 41 times with the local ID? Can anybody guide me in this regard? -Kanag
