Modbus TCP in V11 SP1

bakerjw Posts: 126 Rating: (18)	I read through the S7-1200 & Modbus TCP thread and saw some intermixing of the V10.5 and the V11 SP1 implementation. I wanted to start a thread specifically dealing with the Modbus TCP that is included in TIA portal V11 Service Pack 1. Has anyone tried it and had success?

I tried the library and it didn't support Modbus/TCP FC 23 (read/write registers). That's the only command my applications actually need, so it was useless. I went back to the same software I used on 10.5SP2 from a Siemens Support Engineer in the US. Migrated to TIA Portal V11 (SP1 with all updates). Updated PLC to FW 2.1.2. Loaded, and it just worked! It made my day!
