I need to talk some Drives over Modbus TCP/IP to my CPU 1512SP-1 PN

I understood that the Ethernet port does support Modbus TCP/IP 

CPU shall be server and Drives shall be Client 

Are there any manuals that demonstrate the function

Are you quite sure of this? In all projects where I used Modbus TCP with a drive, the drive was server, the PLC needed to be client so it could initiate the data exchange and read/write actively to the drive. The drive was the passive Partner.

Could you check this out in your drive's manuals, before you start programming?
