I am trying to read data from PM5320 SCHNEIDER using MB_CLIENT in S7 1500. I keep getting 80C5 error. There is no data can be read from the power meter.

I tried to simulate using MODSCAN32 but there is no slave response. I also need to know what is DEVICE ID referring to?

PM5320 IP Address: 192.168.1.4

PLC IP Address: 192.168.1.2

Could you please advise.

look to MB instruction help in TIA. There is description what value you need set as requested register address. You can also look for info how you can check functional connection to Server.

pls for first, it can be better that you show us your cfg settings of both devices like IP, Subnet, Ports. Post screens (you can zip them and attach here) how you define settings and what you've simulate, or you do connection with real device only?
