Modbus/TCP with PCS7

razoh Posts: 81 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a PCS7 system and I have to learn data from a third party system through Modbus/TCP. The information I have is jus the IP address, the mask and a list with all the registers. I have read that it's possible to carry out this communication using AG_SEND, AG_RECV, but I've never donde something like that and I have lots of questions. For example, in the AG_SEND block, I have to write a number in the parameter ID. That is suppose to be the ID of the connection with the third party connection, but. Does it mean that I have to create a new connection using NetPro?? I have redundant, CPU's 417-4H with CP 443-1. Probably the first question should be, Is it possible to do that connection? Thanks for your help

razoh Posts: 81 Rating: (0)	Well, I understand that this is the only solution. One more question, I am using my CP for communication with PLC's, with the SCADA, etc... Is there any problem if we use another protocol in the card? I mean is it possible to use different protocols in the same CP? Regards
